We are getting married at Eureka Lodge in Eureka, Colorado USA. Eureka is a ghost town located in Southwest Colorado. All wedding related events will take place at Eureka Lodge, 6350 Co Rd 2, Silverton, CO 81433 USA, an approximately 30 minute drive from Silverton, where accommodation is located.

We're so excited to welcome everyone to Colorado. As you probably know, Matt is from Colorado and Bibi has adopted this rugged paradise. We've put together a map of our wedding venue, accommodation and all of our favourite spots. We're excited to be your tour guides for a beautiful July weekend!
Travel
Airports
The closest international airports are Denver (DEN), Colorado, an eight-hour drive from Silverton and Albuquerque (ABQ), New Mexico, a five-hour drive from Silverton. If possible, we would suggest connecting to Durango (DRO) or Montrose (MTJ), the closest local airports to Silverton, both of which are a beautiful one hour drive away.
Denver airport is served by all major airlines with direct London flights from Norwegian, British Airways and United among others.
Rental Cars
Rental cars are available in Denver, Albuquerque and Durango. If you're inclined to rent something "sporty" be aware that the road between Silverton and Eureka is a rough dirt road and is best suited to slow moving family cars and fast moving Jeeps. If you are of the more adventurous sort, then you should certainly rent a Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Grand Cherokee or other similar SUV as there are a number of spectacular backcountry passes that can be driven directly from Silverton.

The Wedding will take place on Saturday 14th July 2018 at Eureka Lodge the closest town is called Silverton which is a 30 minute drive away. We will be arranging shuttles to and from Silverton on the wedding day. Silverton is a small town with a few hotels and motels to choose from, our favourites are below. Climate and Altitude
Altitude
Silverton is a mountain town and has the climate to match. It is 9,318 feet (2840m) above sea level so it will take a few days to acclimatise and you may notice some shortness of breath and light headedness if you exert yourself too much. It's a good idea to take it easy for the first few days and stay hydrated.
Babies and children have the same tolerance to altitude as adults - according to google - "Your baby will have the same tolerance for high altitudes as you do, provided that they have no special health concerns and is beyond 3 months of age."
Temperature
The weather in Silverton in July is usually warm and sunny during the day with occasional afternoon mountain showers, and cooler in the evening. Average temperatures of 76°/41° Fahrenheit which is 24°/5° Celsius. It can feel significantly hotter in the sun because of altitude.
Clothing
Pack your sunscreen, rain coat or wind breaker and warm jumper for the evenings. Make sure to bring a pair of walking shoes as Southern Colorado has numerous walks for all abilities.
